PNC Delegation Embarks on Official Visit to China at CPC’s Invitation

PNC delegation led by Minister Mohamed Ameen departs for official visit to China, aimed at strengthening ties with the Communist Party of China.

A delegation from the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) has departed for an official visit to China, following an invitation from the Communist Party of China (CPC). The high-level visit is aimed at fostering stronger ties between the two ruling parties and gaining insight into China’s economic development strategies.

The PNC delegation, led by Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Ameen, will travel to five cities across China as part of the visit. During their stay, the delegation will engage in meetings with local CPC leaders, exchanging experiences and discussing various aspects of governance and economic progress.

One of the key meetings during the trip will be between Minister Ameen and Liu Jinchao, the Minister of the International Department of the CPC. This meeting is expected to focus on strengthening the relationship between the PNC and CPC, with an emphasis on collaborative efforts in development and governance.

According to sources, the delegation’s agenda includes reviewing key infrastructure projects and economic initiatives in different cities. The goal is to learn from China’s remarkable economic growth and development practices, which could serve as a model for future development projects in the Maldives.
