First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed departed for Tanzania on Sunday evening to attend the 11th Merck Foundation Africa Asia Luminary Annual Conference. The event, which runs from October 29-30, 2024, will see participation from global healthcare leaders, policymakers, and academics, aiming to address key healthcare challenges across Africa and Asia.
During the conference, First Lady Sajidha is set to participate in the High-Level First Ladies Panel and will deliver a keynote address. Additionally, she will contribute to the Merck Foundation First Ladies Initiative (MFFLI) Committee Meeting, where discussions will focus on women’s empowerment, disease management, and improving access to quality healthcare.
The Merck Foundation Africa Asia Luminary conference has grown into a significant platform for fostering healthcare collaborations.
