He emphasized the vital role of journalism in upholding Dhivehi language norms and empowering citizens. Reflecting on the need to cultivate future talent, he encouraged educational institutions to integrate journalism into their programs, underscoring the importance of nurturing young reporters who embody the values of integrity and truthfulness.
