During a visit to Muraidhoo in Haa Alif Atoll, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu emphasized that his administration prioritizes proper planning and consultation before making official announcements. Addressing the residents, he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of communities and ensuring progress across the nation.
“I always strive to understand issues directly from citizens, prioritize what needs to be addressed, and find solutions to the challenges people face,” President Muizzu said, highlighting his administration’s focus on transparency and community engagement.
The President shared updates on ongoing efforts to resume stalled projects and initiate new ones across the islands. He assured residents that projects under the approved budget would commence soon, bringing tangible development to their communities.
“You will see stalled projects resuming and new ones beginning. This year and the next will witness significant progress in both areas,” he stated confidently.
President Muizzu also pledged to establish essential services and resources on every island, emphasizing the importance of educational, healthcare, and sports facilities for the well-being of all citizens.
