President Muizzu Urges Unity and Truth in Kudahuvadhoo Address

During a recent visit to Dh. Kudahuvadhoo in South Nilandhe Atoll, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu addressed local residents, sharing his vision for a harmonious and progressive society. The President took the opportunity to clarify recent public debates surrounding government initiatives, emphasizing that accurate information and responsible communication are essential to societal growth.

In his address, President Muizzu brought uplifting news for the community, confirming that, as in previous years, water and electricity bill discounts will continue during Ramadan. He also reaffirmed the government’s ongoing tuna fish can distribution programme, ensuring that these measures remain in place to support households during the holy month.

Drawing upon the teachings of the Holy Quran and Hadith, the President warned against the spread of false narratives, highlighting that such behavior carries serious consequences as outlined in Islamic scripture. “Reflection and critical thinking are vital in our communication,” he stressed, urging citizens to eschew gossip, lies, and defamation.
