HDC Opens 1,374 Parking Spaces for Lease in Hulhumale’

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that 1,374 parking spaces in Hulhumale’ are now available for lease, offering an opportunity for residents to secure a spot in the city’s eight pocket parking zones.

The parking spaces will be leased for a period of one year, with the monthly rental set at MVR 2,000. According to HDC, applications are open to anyone aged 18 and above who owns a Category B1 or C1 vehicle registered within the Greater Malé area. However, preference will be given to vehicles registered in Hulhumale’ itself, with the remaining spaces allocated to vehicles registered in other parts of the city area.

The application period is open until October 1st, and eligible applicants will be selected through a draw.

Residents interested in leasing a parking space can submit their applications at the HDC office reception between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM on official working days.
