The Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced a US Dollar ATM at its Hithadhoo Branch, expanding financial services in Addu City and offering customers 24/7 access to USD deposits, withdrawals, and self-service banking.
With the addition of the new USD ATM, the Hithadhoo Branch now operates a total of three ATMs—one dedicated to self-service banking, another for cash withdrawals, and the newly installed machine for USD transactions.
BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohamed Shareef, highlighted that the introduction of the USD ATM is part of the bank’s strategic expansion to meet the growing demand for foreign currency transactions in Addu City.
“The inauguration of the USD ATM demonstrates our dedication to meeting the growing demand for USD deposits and withdrawals in Addu City. With the recent change of our Gan Branch to a dedicated Islamic Banking branch, alongside our expanded ATM network and digital services, we are strategically strengthening our presence in Addu City,” Shareef stated.
