President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in organizing the vibrant Eid-ul-Fitr 1446 celebrations, which brought joy to families and children across the Maldives.
In a post shared on his official X account this morning, the President acknowledged the efforts of various contributors who worked tirelessly to make this year’s festivities memorable. From event organizers to volunteers, he praised their dedication in ensuring a successful and lively celebration.
This year’s Eid festivities featured a range of events in Malé and across the country, including dazzling light displays, a special Eid family evening, fireworks, and cultural performances. The President and First Lady actively took part in the celebrations, engaging with families and children, and embracing the festive spirit alongside the community.
The Muizzu administration has placed significant emphasis on enhancing religious celebrations, with a particular focus on making Eid even more vibrant each year. This commitment was reflected in the grand scale of this year’s events, which brought communities together in celebration.
