The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has conducted a seminar for senior officers and supervisory-level staff from the Foramale area, aimed at strengthening employee understanding of the company’s regulations and enhancing coordination between departments.
The session, held this week, focused on familiarising participants with WAMCO’s operational policies, workplace standards, and the roles and responsibilities of various divisions within the organisation. Officials said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve internal communication, streamline workflow, and ensure consistent service delivery across all operational zones.
Senior management representatives provided briefings on departmental mandates, corporate governance, and updates on current projects. Employees were also given the opportunity to raise questions and share feedback on daily operational challenges.
According to WAMCO, the seminar forms part of a broader training and professional development programme designed to equip staff with the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to support the company’s expanding waste management services.
Further sessions for additional regions are expected to be held later this year as the corporation continues to strengthen its organisational capacity.
