TTM Maldives 2024 Kicks Off with Over 1,000 Industry Participants

The Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2024 event has officially begun, attracting over 1,000 participants from the tourism sector. Known as the Maldives’ largest tourism trade show, the event is being held at Meerumaa Hotel in Malé City.

This year’s TTM Maldives is set to host 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings, with around 500 industry professionals in attendance. The event has drawn participation from over 100 resorts, alongside more than 250 agents and tour operators, underscoring its significance in fostering connections within the tourism sector.

Tourism Minister Ibrahim Faisal, who inaugurated the event, emphasized the crucial role that trade shows like TTM play in elevating the Maldives’ tourism industry. He called on all stakeholders to collaborate closely in driving further development within the sector.

In addition to local participation, international companies such as MasterCard, TripAdvisor, and Fliggy delivered presentations, highlighting global perspectives on tourism trends and strategies.

The TTM Awards ceremony and gala night, a highlight of the event, will take place at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi Resort.

Marking its eighth edition, TTM Maldives continues to be the premier platform connecting Maldivian tourism operators with key travel agents and partners from around the world, solidifying its reputation as a cornerstone event in the industry.
