President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu reaffirmed his commitment to deepening diplomatic relationships while maintaining the Maldives’ independence and territorial integrity during a recent meeting with Maldivian citizens in Bangalore. The gathering took place as part of his ongoing state visit to India, with First Lady Sajidha Mohamed also in attendance.
Addressing the community, President Muizzu emphasized that his administration’s primary focus will always be the Maldives and its people. “Our policies are shaped by national interests, and we will partner with nations that respect our sovereignty,” he said, stressing the importance of safeguarding the country’s autonomy in all diplomatic endeavors.
