Wang Lixin, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Maldives, paid a farewell visit to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, marking the conclusion of her diplomatic tenure. During the meeting, held at the President’s Office, President Muizzu extended his appreciation to Ambassador Wang for her efforts in strengthening the bilateral relationship between Maldives and China.
The President highlighted China’s instrumental role in supporting various developmental initiatives across the Maldives, acknowledging the positive impact of Chinese-funded projects on sectors such as infrastructure and tourism.
