Economic Development Minister Takes Interim Charge of Tourism

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has relieved Ibrahim Faisal of his duties as the Minister of Tourism, according to an official statement from the President’s Office. The dismissal comes as part of the President’s ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance the effectiveness of the administration.

In the interim, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed has been tasked with overseeing the Ministry of Tourism. The reassignment of responsibilities is effective immediately, ensuring continuity in the critical operations of the tourism sector.
