President Muizzu Extends Condolences to Bangladesh on Passing of Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed condolences to the Government and people of Bangladesh following the passing of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, the country’s first female head of government.

In a message shared on X, President Muizzu expressed sympathy to the Bangladeshi nation as it mourns the loss of a leader who played a defining role in the country’s political history. He also offered prayers for Khaleda Zia’s family, asking for strength and patience for her loved ones during what he described as a period of deep sorrow.
