Maldives Immigration Announces Service Schedule for First Week of Shawwal

Maldives Immigration has announced its service schedule for the first seven days of Shawwal, outlining specific timings for passport applications, collections, and other essential services.

According to an official post on X, passport applications will remain accessible 24/7 through the Imuga portal. However, those who need to apply in person can do so at the Immigration office between 9:15 AM and 12:00 PM. In cases of emergencies, in-person applications will be limited to individuals aged 65 and above.

Passport collection will also be available during the same timeframe, with token numbers issued between 9:15 AM and 12:00 PM. These services will be provided at Immigration offices in both Malé and Hulhumalé.

For urgent medical-related immigration assistance, the public is advised to contact Immigration directly. Visa-related emergencies can be addressed by calling 9199153.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement and Compliance Division will be open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM every day except Sundays.

Seaport services will continue to operate on all days except Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and again from 9:30 PM to 12:00 AM. On Fridays, these services will be available between 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM and 9:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Maldives Immigration urges the public to take note of these timings and plan their visits accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
