First Lady Attends Ahmadhiyya International School Prize Day, Honours Top Achievers

First Lady Sajidha Mohamed attended the Prize Awarding Ceremony of Ahmadhiyya International School today, where the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of students and teachers were celebrated.

At the event, the First Lady presented awards to several outstanding students, including the candidate who secured the national first place in the 2023/2024 Cambridge O’Level examinations. She also honoured students who earned world rankings in their subjects, as well as recipients of the prestigious ‘Best All-Round Student’ title.

The ceremony highlighted the school’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence and its role in shaping future leaders of the Maldives. Teachers were also recognised for their dedication, with tributes paid to their contribution in guiding students towards national and global achievements.

Speaking at the gathering, school officials expressed pride in the students’ success and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to nurturing both academic talent and personal growth.

The First Lady’s participation in the event was seen as a gesture of support for the education sector and encouragement for students striving to excel on both national and international platforms.
