The NIC plays a key role in promoting accountability and integrity within the country’s law enforcement sector. The commission is tasked with monitoring the conduct and performance of law enforcement agencies and their officers, while also ensuring adherence to the laws and regulations governing their operations.

With the latest appointments, the five-member commission is now fully constituted and set to continue its oversight functions under the new leadership.
