Allied Insurance Maldives has rolled out a new social media campaign in the lead-up to the Allied Hulhumalé Run 2026, offering participants the chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods Pro (3rd generation).
Announced in a press release issued on 26 April, the “Share the Run” campaign is designed to engage the public online while building excitement ahead of one of the Maldives’ largest community fitness events.
How the Campaign Works
Running from 20 April to 23 May, the campaign invites participants to follow Allied’s Instagram account (@allied.mv), share selected run-related posts to their Stories, tag the company, and use the hashtag #AlliedHulhumaléRun2026.
According to Allied, the participant with the highest number of Story shares during the campaign period will walk away with the grand prize. Users with private accounts can still take part by sending screenshots of their shared Stories directly to the company via direct message.
Countdown to Race Day
The campaign comes as preparations continue for the third edition of the Hulhumalé Run, scheduled for 22 May 2026. Organised by Elite Runners Maldives, the annual event has grown steadily since its launch, drawing strong participation in both 2024 and 2025.
The run is aimed at promoting fitness, teamwork and community spirit, with Allied Insurance serving as the title sponsor this year.
Race Categories and Registration
Participants can choose from a range of categories tailored to different fitness levels:
- One Mile – MVR 199
- 5KM Run – MVR 349
- 10KM Run – MVR 449
- Half Marathon (21.1KM) – MVR 599
- Dual Category (21.1KM + 5KM) – MVR 699
Registration is open until 10 May, with both individual and corporate team entries accepted.
Prizes and Safety Measures
In addition to the social media giveaway, Allied has announced more than MVR 50,000 in cash prizes through a lucky draw for registered runners. All participants will be automatically entered, with winners to be selected live on race day.
The insurer also confirmed that every registered runner will receive complimentary accidental insurance coverage during the event, reinforcing its focus on participant safety.
With momentum building ahead of race day, organisers say this year’s Hulhumalé Run is expected to draw strong turnout as both a sporting and community-driven event.
