BML Rewards Digital Spending with Weekly USD 1,000 Cash Prizes

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced a new promotional campaign that will give customers the opportunity to win USD 1,000 every week by using the bank’s USD debit card for everyday spending.

The campaign, which runs until July 30, is aimed at encouraging greater adoption of digital payment solutions while rewarding customers who choose to make purchases and payments using foreign currency cards.

Under the promotion, customers who obtain a newly issued BML USD Debit Card and spend at least USD 100 in qualifying transactions within a week will automatically be entered into a draw for the weekly cash prize.

According to the bank, a wide range of transactions will count toward eligibility, including online shopping, subscription payments, ticket purchases, and other digital payment activities. The promotion is expected to appeal particularly to customers who regularly use international online services and platforms.

The campaign comes as demand for digital banking services and foreign currency payment solutions continues to grow in the Maldives. In recent years, BML has expanded its range of card products and digital banking services, providing customers with greater flexibility when making payments both locally and internationally.

BML said the initiative is designed not only to reward customers but also to promote the convenience and security of cashless transactions. The bank believes increasing the use of digital payment methods can help simplify everyday spending while enhancing the overall banking experience.

Customers interested in participating can apply for a new USD debit card through any BML branch or via the bank’s online banking services. All qualifying transactions must be completed before July 30 to be considered for the weekly draws.

With seven weeks remaining until the campaign concludes, customers will have multiple opportunities to qualify for the USD 1,000 weekly prize, making it one of the bank’s most attractive customer promotions of the season.
