The team from Hulhulé Island Hotel (HIH) recently took part in the ongoing “Dhekumaadhiun” series with a visit to Velana International Airport’s (VIA) newly completed terminal, extending their support and appreciation to the personnel preparing for its grand opening.
Organized as part of the lead-up to the official unveiling of the new terminal, the “Dhekumaadhiun” series brings together various institutions and stakeholders to recognise and celebrate the tireless efforts of the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) team involved in the terminal project.
The HIH team’s visit highlighted their solidarity with MACL’s workforce and acknowledged the significance of the new terminal in enhancing national infrastructure and elevating the Maldives’ global aviation profile. The gesture also served to boost the morale of staff engaged in final preparations for the launch.
Velana International Airport’s new terminal, a key part of the government’s broader development strategy, is expected to significantly expand capacity and improve the travel experience for both international visitors and Maldivians.
